The Sterling Leadership Conference was held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando recently resulting in some very positive reviews. This was the 32nd year of the conference, branded as “Igniting Leadership Excellence”, and it did just that. It was sponsored by The Sterling Council, an organization tasked with elevating performance excellence in Florida and Georgia.
Throughout the week, attendees enjoyed 40 high-caliber workshops, Two Keynote speakers, an extremely popular Speed Learning Session, the Networking Expo, a Storyboard competition, and a Quality Improvement Team Showcase competition.
One differentiator of this conference is the workshop takeaways – one tangible tool or reference from each of the workshops, something attendees could apply immediately in their own organization.
In fact, attendance exceeded last year’s by 25%, with a majority of attendees reporting that this was their FIRST Sterling Leadership conference.
The event culminated with the Awards Banquet on Friday, where Role Model Organizations were recognized.
The Governor’s Sterling Award Recipient for 2024 was Lee Health
while the Georgia Oglethorpe Award Recipient was Wellstar Sylvan Grove Medical Center.
